Chess

We have been teaching chess in the after-school now for a few years. In November we had a chess theme in art and the children made chess boards and chess men from wool and play dough. We then had a chess day were we invited parents to come and play with their children and look at their artwork. It was very much fun and everyone happy

Chain Decorations

Our Christmas decorations are chains of rings which the children decorated end wrote marry Christmas in many languages.

Making paper chains is a fun activity that develops child's motor and cognitive skills that suits almost every occasion. All you need to do is add a bit of a personal touch to it.
