Starting a New year at Horizons

New Year means new beginnings but when you're teaching it also brings new opportunities.

Making a transition from year to year is an eventful period. A lot of excitement rises among children already in November, and the holiday cheer takes over December.

This November we explored about "Famous People" and "Recycling".

Since the season of giving was ahead of us, we wanted to explore and discover more about people who gave so much to us as man kind and we wanted to explore materials so we can create things of our own that we can give to people we love.

December we dedicated to Christmas.

We at Horizons love to celebrate with children and explore fun new topics but we didn't forget about January.

Though January can get overshadowed due to big events in the surrounding months we believe it is also very valuable. It offers a perfect opportunity to introduce and explore winter as well as other topics best tailored to children's age.

That is why we started the new 2018 exploring about "Winter & Calendar" and "Winter & Transport"
