Exploring Birds

It's autumn and children 4-5 years old are exploring birds.

Autum started quit calm, all the children had not begun, some still had vacation.

One day when we were out in the yard some children started talking about birds.

They continued the discussion when we entered the preschool.

We then decided that we would work on the subject of birds.

Together with the children we decided that we would start drawing birds free from the imagination and how they think a bird looks like. Then they told what they knew about birds.

They do not freeze because they have feathers

They have wings so they can fly

They have throt

They have nails

They like snake

The whole thing continued that we visited the forest and listened to the bird song.We picked up leaves that we would make birds of. We talked about the fact that there are some birds flying to warmer countries now that winter has begun to come.We searched on google and You Tube after bird song. We created our own trees in preschool with birds as we did of the leaves we picked in the woods
